Our first Akkan Hardmode clear happened this week. Gate 3 took about 7 hours of prog to do. I wasn't playing as good as I was at the start of our 7 hour prog...Akkan will draw a circle with his scythe, and orange eyeballs will appear as the screen darkens. He will then hold up a lantern to search for the players. Akkan will either rotate 2-3 times in a combo, or 360 spin with a wide orange blast.
