Niobrarasaurus
Silvisaurus, from the Latin silva woodland and Greek sauros lizard, is a nodosaurid ankylosaur from the middle Cretaceous of Kansas. A fossil of the species was discovered in the fifties by rancher Warren H. Condray of Wells, KS. He notified senator Frank Carlson who directed him to the chancellNiobrarasaurus is a Nodosaurid known from the Smoky Hill Chalk Member of the NIobrara Formation in Kansas, which was in the Western Interior Seaway at the time of its deposition, between 87 and 82 million years ago in the Santonian age of the Late Cretaceous. As such, it probably was a body washed out to sea from a land based ecosystem.Binomial name. †Tatankacephalus cooneyorum. Parsons & Parsons, 2009. Tatankacephalus is a basal genus of nodosaurid dinosaur that lived during the Early Cretaceous. Its length has been estimated at 7 meters (23 ft).
